New Global Spa Benchmark Report 2019 Released by Intelligent Spas

Singapore, December 2019 - Intelligent Spas' new global spa industry research found average revenue per spa halved over the last decade due to a supply and demand imbalance, however revenue per visit has increased, compared to its inaugural global spa benchmark survey which published 2008 results. The findings confirm many revenue and visit indicators have decreased significantly and prove it is a challenging business environment for spa owners and managers. This is the first in a new series of Spa Benchmarks Reports now available to help stakeholders in the spa industry enhance their performance by staying up to date with market changes. 

The first Report available is the Global Spa Benchmark Report 2019 by Region and contains over 1,130 statistics to help spas and other industry stakeholders compare their financial and operational performance to market conditions, then initiate improvements to maximise profit.

The Global Spa Benchmark Report 2019 by Region presents forecast results for 2019 and 2018 and 2017 actual results, plus sub-sample responses by the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe and Middle East and Africa regions.

2008 benchmarks published in our inaugural report are also included to highlight the various changes in the industry over the last decade.
