Intelligent Spas just released a new global Spa Industry Survey Report entitled Workplace Wellness in Spas, which was exclusively sponsored by the Asia Pacific Spa and Wellness Coalition (APSWC).
The research aimed to explore how spa businesses are implementing Workplace Wellness Initiatives through leadership, culture and structured programs.

Some key findings include:
- 63% of survey respondents confirmed they currently implement workplace wellness initiatives.
- All retreat spas surveyed stated they implemented a workplace wellness program, compared to 50% of day spas.
- 74% of spas located in Asia Pacific offered workplace wellness programs, compared to 47% of European spas.
- 86% of respondents stated a main goal of the program was to improve staff retention.

About the Research
The global, online survey was completed by 111 respondents, 12% of respondents were from the Americas region, 52% were from Asia Pacific, 28% were from Europe and 8% were from Middle East and Africa. 46% of respondents were resort spas, 25% were hotel spas, 8% were retreat/destination spas and 19% were day spas which did not offer accommodation on site.
